A friend of mine has the tail section from Wk.Nr 8935. Does anyone have some history for this machine?

TIA
Dave

Well when I say 'tail'-it is basically the swastika - uno, the usual souvenir. I will try and get permission to post a photo...

Re: Afrika 109 history

Hi Dave,

can find only two entrys about 8935, a Bf109 F-2 of Nachtjagdschule 1,

January 31st 1943 a landing Fw 58 collided with the parked plane (damage is given with 30%),
and 2 days later the 109 when landing collided with a parked Fw 58, damage also 30%,
no pilots name given. Both accidents at airfield Schleißheim.

And I´m not realy sure if its not just one and the same accident ??

Re: Afrika 109 history

Hello Jim and other Members

I have in the LEMB stkz this as PB+SN

block PK+SA-SI W.Nr.8922 to W.Nr.8930
but also
block PB+SF-SU W.Nr.8927 to W.Nr.8942

One of the blocks must be in error Wich one ?

Thans for the Answers

What is sure , as people rather be sure of, 8922 to 8930 were PK+SA/PK+SI , 8937 to 8939 PB+SP/PB+SR nd probably as Jim confirmed PK+SN 8935

8927 as PB+SF comes from the log Baier's, but looks like a mistake
