Hello,

IIRC reports of at least one bomber that crashed during the latter part of the BoB described these bars on one a/c as "pink," although they appear more white in all the photos I have showing these in the EOE Data Base. From the evidence I've seen, these formation markings did not appear until at least early Sept., 1940, at the earliest.

Can anyone supply me with a copy of the article that Giampiero refers to above, perhaps as a PDF?
