Hi Rob,

Well, a lot of questions and a very complex topic.
In short, it was the second and last group of Hungarian Messerschmitt pilots, who were re-trained in the Eastern Front by a German combat unit (the first one was in late autumn, 1942 by I./JG 52). Later in 1943 a permanent German Bf 109 training group arrived to Hungary, so the pilots were re-trained at home.
As for their combat activity, we discussed a little in 2005 about Kirschner and Hungarians. I'll drop you an e-mail.
