I have records of a number of He111P from a block close to this number. But the highest number I have is 2162 which is a He111P-5. On your earlier thread I had assumed that 2196 could also be a He111P. But I did not have access to the article by Volker Koos in Jet & Prop number 2/2010 which Matti mentioned. As I then acknowledged in the earlier thread WNr.2196 was probably only ever the He111B-2 which I had earlier stated. Sorry if I confused you. Are the ID plates that you have related to WNr.2196? Ian
