And on 23 Jan 42 I have an ULTRA intercept stating the Germans intended to place 3x Freya on Crete and 1x ea on Scarpanto and Rhodes.
That would have been a nice early warning system for raids on Athens and Patras. All the best Andreas

Hello Andreas,
Came across this thread again and saw my (unfullfilled) promise to scan the KTB XII.Fliegerkorps pages about the 'Einsatz' of Ln.Abt. in North-Africa. Will do my very best to send these scans, it has somehow escaped my attention, sorry for that! I made a reminder and take this at home now. Till soon, all the best, Marcel
