Re: Aircraft ID from an oxygen bottle ??
Well, as Chris wrote you - it was standard Zylinderflasche used as well for oxygen (Sauerstoff, as you have noticed) but also compressed air (Pressluft) i.e. for weapons operating.
One can find those bottles in many german planes. It must have come from an earlier plane cause later more popular ball shaped Kugelflaschen for oxygen storing were used. Your bottle is in much beter condition than mine is, where it's impossible to find any sign or even paint. |
