FW200 Condor "KF+QL" Wrk 0072

I recently got a original photo of a FW200 Condor carrying the codes "KF+QL" , I think this plane later served in 1./KG40 and carried the codes "F8+CH" .
Can anybody please tell me what happened to this plane during the war , thanks.

It was a C-3/U4 and I can confirm that 0072 was F8+CH & KF+QL but its fate is unknown and it did not suffer any recorded damage during the war

Re: FW200 Condor "KF+QL" Wrk 0072

Most likely it transferred to Norway with other Condors from KG 40.

Unfortunately, as I said in my ear;ier posting its eventual fate is not known so if anyone comes up with the fate of this and others, I would be both surprised and interested!

Re: FW200 Condor "KF+QL" Wrk 0072

At the time of capitulation, only 3 FW 200 remained in Norway. They were FW 200C-6 W.Nr. 0133, FW 200C-8 W.Nr.0205 and 0245. All three
were destroyed on site.

Re: FW200 Condor "KF+QL" Wrk 0072

Thanks for that update Seaplanes , so it would seem that "KF+QL" was not one of them , as Chris said we may never know it's fate but there is no harm trying .
