Concerning his plane WNr 1572 I have this:
Complete loss on 22th September 1941 over Perekop/USSR. Flown by Uffz Otto Riedl (killed?) from 3.(J)/LG 2. The date suggests the crash (or emergency landing?) area subsequently was taken by German troops, the plane being salvaged and afterwards being rebuilt to E-7 status. Unfortunately nothing about the Pilot Kißlinger, the name giving evidence of a southern Bavarian origin...(Freising, München evtl Ansbach) Regards Roland
