Hi Walt,
Thank you very much. Can you tell more about your source(s) please? Already published pictures ? Any known markings and unit? Thanks for your help. Note: Erfurt was taken by Patton III US Army on 12 April 1945 and "given" to russians on following 3rd of July. No chance to have snow during that period. Do these pictures come from Russian soldiers? ( Seller says: "Taken by an american from the 17th Bomb group 34th Bomb squadron") Is there another Erfurt? And since part of these pictures are known by our fellow members - part of at least - I just wonder why I've never seen any WNr. concerning that plane in these columns. Regards, Franck.
