Air Commodore A C H Sharp
Hello,
In 1943, Air Commodore A C H Sharp was Air Liaison Officer with 8th Air Force, he did some operations as air gunner on B17, would be possible to trace these flights somewhere ? Thank you for your help, Alain |

Alain,
One of these flights must have been on 14 July 1943: see http://www.dnw.co.uk/medals/auctiona...so?itemid=6828 Regards, Leendert |

Re: Air Commodore A C H Sharp
Thank you for your answer, I know this detail but cannot find any squadron concerning this flight, is it possible that Sharp could have flown with a false name ?
I believe that it was the time where special B17 with extra guns and munitions were tested against germans fighters .... Knowing the caractere of Sharp, he would have been keen to fly on one of this air battle ships ! If someone has access to the ORB of these americans squadron, perhaps a possibility to find a trace of Sharp ... Alain. |
