No need, Ed. His attorney is trying to contact you, John and me now. Something about a defamation suit that will be based on the anticipated £11,492,000 in lost sales revenue from the book.

... and all too full of eggnog (presumably some strange American habit?) to notice that this book was first published several years ago. One of my family bought it because our own fair city was one of the places featured. The format of that edition was too small to do the pictures full justice, I thought.

Eggnog. Never tried it, never will. But it is a traditional drink for the period around Christmas on this side of the pond.

It first appeared on the left side of the pond in the late 1600's using Jamaican rum produced by British distilleries on Jamaica. We shake fresh ground nutmeg on top. It's delicious but very fattening and intoxicating.

"left side of the pond" First I've heard it put that way.

Don't be afraid of it, Ed, give it a try. It's very Britttish and I think you would like it. The eggnog comes in quart and 2-quart milk cartons and plastic jugs at the supermarket. You just pour in a glass and stir in 1 part of your favorite rum to 3½ to 4 parts eggnog with a little fresh ground nutmeg on top. Best served refrigerator cold. Deeeelish!
