Paul Gildner; NJG1 at Gilze-Rijen
Hello Benno
Both of these were Bf 110 G-4 twin-engined night fighters. This was basically the same as the Bf 110 G-2 twin-engined day fighter only fitted with an on-board radar system such as FuG 202, FuG 220, FuG 212 and FuG 218 as well as exhaust flame dampers for night interception. I hope this helps. Horrido! Leo |
