In September certainly not. But by November ground operations in North Africa went very badly, and supply had been pretty comprehensively interrupted. That's when the FW200s were used for fuel supply runs, to augment the Ju 52 fleet. But it wasn't considered a successful experiment. Evidence is from ULTRA, so very reliable. All the best Andreas
