Bf 109 F's identification?

Hi there Gang,

I discovered recently those two magnificent color pics of Bf 109 F's , probably taken in 1942, and without any form of caption.

The second one might be easier to ID: "Weisse 12" does have a unit emblem on it's engine cowling...

Thanks in advance!
Marc

Re: Bf 109 F's identification?

As for "Schwarze 12":

Since I'm "courageous" as wrote by RolandF :

1/ I see no unit with such wide white band.
Hence it's not white but Yellow
....
2/ It's Tusow August 1942 and 2./JG 53.
3/ It's not a Bf 109F but a Bf 109 G-2. (see Lt. Walter Zellot plane especially with the big Black area at wing roots.)

: I had nothing better to say.

Ooops, yes one: What's the source for Bf 109 F Marc?

Enjoy my post!!!
