A bit hard to state that exactly. After a bit of thinking, I would settle for captured British aircraft built under non-combat specifications (including impressed civil ones from conquered areas). Jim Thanks a lot for your list. Got in fact a bit more than I was bargaining for, my fault, but I must say it produced three answers I had not expected and that was two Hurricanes and one Spitfire being in use in other units than pure test and evaluation. If anyone else can come up with more aircraft such as De Havilland types (no Mosquito....) I would be most happy. Cheers Stig |
