Stand to be corrected a/c from both 31 34 flew to Szombathely on November 22/23, 1944;

My Dad (an RAFVR Air Gunner attached to SAAF) who had been with 34 Sqd, did his first trip with 31 Sqd toSzombathely on 20/21 October - take off 1845 duration 5h 40 min, 8 x 1000lb from 11000ft - fighters in area A/c was KG 996 (A)

On 23 November his crew did a Daylight bommbing mission on Troop Concentrations at Rogatica (?), Yugoslavia, 12 x 500lbs from 12000ft
