Re: Listo of MIA/KIA pilots from II./SG3 - area Pommern 1945

Hi Guys

Regarding Oskar Münnich. I have him force-landing his Fw190 at Stettin after engine-damage and listed as missing on 3rd January 1945. However his rank then was Uffz not Fw, so it is likely that he managed to return. In 1944 he made three claims for Russian aircraft with 6./Sg3:-

15th September 1944 Jak-9 1537 hrs 100 metres.
5th October 1944 Il-2 1512 hrs 350 metres
6th October 1944 Il-2 Il-2 hrs 100 metres.

With Oskar Bischoff. I have him missing with II./Sg3 on 19th April 1945 in a Fw190. He made one claim in 1944 with 5./Sg3:-

18th September 1944 P-39 1105 hrs 30 metres.

Regarding Karl Meier. I have him missing in a Fw190 at Sprottau on 1st March 1945 with II./Sg3.

Regarding Kurt Meister. I have him missing in a Fw190 at Berlin on 1st February 1945 with II./Sg3.

Regarding Günther Grund. I have him shot down and killed by flak with 6./Sg3, his Fw190 coming down at Augustwalde on 9th March 1945.

Kind Regards

Johannes

Re: Listo of MIA/KIA pilots from II./SG3 - area Pommern 1945

What Jim P. reported is the status of MIA at the time of the reporting in the Gen.Qu. List. This does not mean that he still is MIA. Ofhr. Kurt Reier is not mentione din the DRK Bildlisten and also not in the VDK Datenbank. So he could have survived. Only further research can clarify that.

Dears ,

Needed information about pilot above. Probably status MIA (what the reason of MIA in documents- Luftkampf/Airbattle , Flak/AA , ...) ?
From which airfield on 6.03.1945 could fly Fw 190F (9.2.45 - 5.45 Finow ) ???
Could be single mission of Fw190 F-8 on the target ?
(I think he was from II./SG3 - is it true) ?

What colour for side numbers was used in following wings ?
Stab II./SG3
4./SG3 =...
5./SG3 =...
6./SG3 =...
