Die Walther-Bachmann Flugzeugwerke 1934-1945
I have never heard of this company until a random search turned up this title. Comments?

Re: Die Walther-Bachmann Flugzeugwerke 1934-1945
This Company mainly acted as 2.-line repair and overhaul facility for
Luftwaffe seaplanes, i.e. Heinkel floatplanes of all models. They are probably best known for converting 24 He 59C and D models to the He 59N air-sea rescue aircraft from 1939 to 1940. For some years from 1941 - 1944, the company also operated a repair and overhaul facility in Horten, Norway at the old Navy Aircraft Factory. |
