hi, Stig, I think this comes from Griehl He 111 book (not my own research)
then He Rostock " W.Nr. 1698 L " plate (if real W.Nr. but not Part-Nr.) does not fit NDW going up to 1732 either ? Was sent pic of this for opinion. Only have rough outline of He 111 numbers, sorry. -ed
