2./LG 1 Werk.No. 5315 16 Nov. 1939 emergency landing
Hello experts,
Peter Taghons book about Lehrgeschwader 1 mention an emergency landing of a He 111 H-2, Werk.No. 5315 in "Klovendeich". November 16, 1939 Two men reported injured. I am very interested in further Information, since I live in that area (west of Hamburg). Checking the Werknummer a post in this Forum (from 2008) list No. 5315 as lost of a Ju52 at Megara / Greece (20.05.41)? So I asked myself: Is the W.No. right, what is about the Stammkennzeichen etc. Any Information about the Crew names and their fate in the war? The He 111 probably had small damage tha day - any hints when and where it was in action again? best regards Frank |
