Three Free French Pilots MIA in June 44
Hello,
Seeking the Burial place of these three Free French Fighter Pilots of 345 Sqdn, killed in June 44. 6 th June Lt. Joubert des Ouches - Spitfire Vb - W3843. (Abandoned 12m E of St. Vaast-la-Hougue Manche). Believed drowned, never found ? 7th June Sgt. P. J. M. Autret - Spitfire Vb - BM312.(Crashed on Omaha/Utah ? Beach). 8th June Sgt. L. T. Bonjean - Spitfire Vb - BL927. ( Patrol of Omaha Beach. Recovered returned to service 57 OTU ?). Many thanks, Alex |
