Peter has beaten me to it! However, Williams in his logbook says that the aircraft he and Watkins attacked ditched 50 miles out and that 3 crew were picked up. Von Krause, the Beobachter of 7T+EH, said he was attacked by two Spitfires and that they damaged one-Williams said he was hit in both attacks, took a hit to the rudder bar, undercarriage, pitot head and a number of electrical systems were taken out. Von Krause also said thyey were picked up by a Dutch patrol boat-Amsterdam?
