Tailwheel Spitfire 1944-45 Holland
Hello Everybody,
A call for help in this mysterious case. The wheel is far as i know from a Spit who made a bellied-landing in area Veendam nearby Groningen on a farmersfield in 1944 or 1945 ,the farmer tried to use it for his own vehicles but it didn,t work .Nowadays it is in my collection ,but i like to know who was the owner !.So somebody has any misses of a Spit in 44-45 ? Pilot survived POW . If this wheel is indeed spitfire please confirm if possible or can you help with losses of them ? Thanks anyway Harrie |
