Hello guys,

In my opinion attached Fw200 is in Tempelhof airfield.
Because in Pocking Lufthansa Fw200 D-AABR was exploded by German SS troops.

From one memories György Félegyházi member of – RKI- /Hungarian Aircraft Research Institute Flight Unit/ translation:

„…From Hungary we were directed to Pocking at first days of April 1945…
… In this time in Pocking stationed one German Night Bomber unit, and one Fw-200 Condor passanger aircraft…
… When was the end (last days of April 1945) SS troops came to the airfield. They wanted to burn everything. After a long negotation they did not burn the camp, only burn the Condor and one hangar where were the Ju88 bombers. It”s was a terrible and painful sight!...
Next day morning we approached the burned aircraft. All Ju88 bombers were in ash, and also the lonely Condor front of the hangar…

Hi Balasz, nice to hear from you again - but in case of D-AABR Félegyházi is wrong I'm afraid. Apart from some minor damage this Fw 200 was clearly intact when it was captured by US troops. There exist at least three photos of it.
