Ju 87 losses over Holland - night 31st/12/44 to 01/01/45

Good morning to all.

Am trying to identify the LW losses during the night of 31st December 1944 up to 01st January 1945, over Holland, but NOT related to Operation Bodenplatte.

There were, at least two Ju 87 claims over Holland that night and I would like to identify them. Most probably NSGr 20 aircraft, who lost Ju 87 D-5 131197 and two FW 190 F-8.

Any further details of the crew of that D-5 werknummer 131197 or the other Ju 87 reported missing by NSGr 20?

Thank you in advance for any kind of help.
Most sincerely yours,
Adriano S. Baumgartner

Hello,
NSGr. 20 did not have Ju87, only NSGr. 1 and 2 use them.

Hi Adriano,

do you know the book from Dr. Christian Möller "Die Einsätze der Nachtschlachtgruppen 1, 2 und 20 an der Westfront vom September 1944 bis Mai 1945"?

Hans,
I did not know about that publication. Sadly I did not read German. But will keep an eye on it.
Thank you for informing me about that.

That 620670 is Ju 88 G-6 W.Nr., lost in night of 26/27.12.44 near Namur (Brussels area)

Sorry, a confusion in my note-taking since the two machines would have featured in the same file. I re-checked and there was no W.Nr. ascertained from the JU 87 wreck.
