Oblt KUHN 8./StG3 1942
Hi guys
Seeking the first name of the above Stuka pilot shot down off Malta on 1 April 1942; rescued by German ASR, but airgunner lost. Any help appreciated. Cheers Brian

He may be Oblt. Helmut Kühn, killed in Ju 87D-3 WNr.100333 in a collision 22.June 1943 with Ju 87D-3 WNr. 100328 (Fw. Hans Stiegler) near Bylki.

Brian, GQM dated 6-4-42 shows III/St.G.3 Ju87D-1 2111 Malta 100% fell to fighter fire, crew rescued - then in pen it shows Bf Gef. Helmut Suchlich + which is confirmed in an admendment note GQM report dated 14-4-42. Would this indicate Suchlich died after being rescued ? I don't have any luck with the Gravesearch site perhaps he has a known grave,
