Well, what about the daylight/daytime claim of Sqn Ldr McLeod (obviously flying Spit) ? I have his CR and still wondering where came down this claimed Do 217...

Hi Clin ,

I made a mistake saying MacLeod was flying a Mosquito , you are correct he was flying that day 19 april 1944 Spitfire Mk-321.But i "think " that he didn't shot down a Do-217 but Me-110 werknumber 740148 G9+HZ from 11./NJG1 who came down at Kappellen 8 km north of Tirlemont killing his pilot Uffz Wachtel Alfred.

Hi Clin ,

Wachtel Alfred Uffz pilot Nachr.Ers.Kp.Inf.Ers . Rgt;21/321 , born on 15/02/1921 at Meisen , buried Brustem in grave nr 124. Unfortenally i have no info on the other crewmembers.
