Halifax JP295 (FS-P) crashed in Banica (now Krzywa) near Gorlice. Shot down by a night fighter from 1./NJG 100 at. 2.33. The aircraft was loaned from 148. Sqn.

Halifax JP171 (GR-B) was shot down on its way to Warsaw by Flak over Mohács (ger. Mohatsch) in Hungary. Crashed near Draž in Yugoslavia (now Croatia).

Dear all,

Many thanks for these details, most useful indeed! I can confirm that the Nachtjäger of 1./NJG100 shooting down JP295 was Ofw. Rudi Düding; it was his 11th confirmed kill, his claim was confirmed by Luftflotte 6 on 10 October 1944.
