Yes ! There was a "Fritzlar flair" for those shots on offer. Thanks for nailing it, Roger !

Cheers

Re: eBAy: Captured german planes

The following request concerns the Ju 87D which first appeared on this site in two photographs of the derelict aircraft in company with Ju 88G 620 507. Page 355, 06.05.20. A nice earlier photo of this aircraft with the legible WNr. 412 211 appears on Roger Gaemperle's Vintage Eagles addenda website (for which see).

The question I raise concerns the Werknummer displayed on this airplane. The Vintage Eagle photo above shows the only Ju 87 in a 41x xxx series known to me. George Morrison, who has a broad knowledge of things Ju 87, also has only this single example of a 41x xxx machine.

Does any reader have further information or an explanation of the above Werknummer?

RA

Are those FuG 216 antennae under the nose of that Bf 109?

Re: eBAy: Captured german planes

Thank you, Rottler, for taking time to post the LwGQM 6. Abt. citation. Just exactly what I'd hoped for and very helpful indeed.
