Re: eBAy: Captured german planes
Hi Gents,
Thanks to Spektor over in modelforum.cz this picture of an Erla Bf 109 G-10. Caption created by former Normandie-Niémen pilot Penzini family says "Le Bourget, 25 June 1945". It is reknown the RC 3 reached Le Bourget this day but I don't believe they bring a G-10 with them. Any ideas? Note the kite has flamme damper over exhaust typical for a (former at least) Nachtjagd Jäger. The camouflage too ... Regards, Franck. http://penzinipilote.chez-alice.fr/g...b/pages/17.htm PS: Landscape in background is too far for Le Bourget. |

Re: eBAy: Captured german planes
Hi Franck.
You're right, the background doesn't look like Le Bourget. It's Prague-Rusin Airport. Source: Jet & Prop 3/2012 Lubo. |

Re: eBAy: Captured german planes
Hi Frank,
Post #4448 - Its low oil filler hatch suggests that it is not a G-10. Respectfully, Steve Sheflin |

Re: eBAy: Captured german planes
Franck, Lubo,
Thanks to Rasmussen, 7 May 2014, the W.Nr. of this Erla built Bf 109 G-14 is thought to be W.Nr. 465 805. Cheers Marc Last edited by Marc-André Haldimann; 3rd April 2021 at 12:01. |
