Greetings to all,
Unless I am mistaken, the Fw 190 illustrated in Post #4727 is a relatively-rare Fw 190 A-7, WNr, 430706, St.Kz. CT+LO, which was abandoned in a large collection of aircraft at Einsatzhafen Bayreuth-Bindlach, Germany (coordinates 49.984722 11.638889). However, the two in post 4728 show the same thing, white script on the port side. Was this a message chalked on by the allies to denote they planes were checked and safe?
