Does somebody know where Lt. John K. Jones crashed in his P-47D 42-26278 (391stFS/366th FG). MACR 11412 gives no detailed info, justt vicinity Ahrweiler.

Hello,
2nd Lt. Shelton Brannen crashed near Weinsheim-Prüm/Germany. He and Ltn. Lane was shoot down by Fw 190D-9 from JG 26. h.

Thanks Hans for the addtional info, very helpful. I concur with the link with II./JG 26. If anybody knows anything about the loss of Lt. Jones, then that would be great!
