Kyrre,

For F-86A 49-1197 (Nellermoe) aviationarchaeology.com points to a "structural failure" as cause of loss.
Pilot Nellermoe survived the crash. He made combat tours over SE Asia and died on Jan. 15, 2008 in Tucson, AZ.
