If however the date was the 26th Dec,1944 then from the available Luftwaffe claims lists on line there were six P51's by Luftwaffe pilots.
Uffz Helmut Bollwerk - 5/JG 2. Uffz Jurgen Kirchhoff - 5/JG 2 -(2). Hptm Georg Schroeder - Stab II/JG 2. Uffz Rudolf Trager - 6/JG 2. Few Hans Braun - StabIII/JG4 - Havelange, Ardennes. So perhaps Braun's victim? Alex

SCHWARZ claimed 'his' P-51 near Givet; Hargnies (F) is just South of Givet, at NW of the 361th FG combat area.
Perhaps a F-6 ? Havelange is northern, and in Mombeek book, area of claim is rather "some 30 km West of Bastogne", not really Havelange but closer to combat area (Neufchateau-Libin). Preddy was lost toward Eschweiler (by memory). Thanks anyway. ClinA-78
