nachtschlacht-buckers did fly with bombs; panzerfaust-buckers with panzerfausts :-) so these have bombracks and no panzerfaust-mountings... all the best |

Re: eBAy: Captured german planes
If they ever actually flew! All of the Bü 181 NSKdos. that I know of (3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9 and one other) were being established on northern airfields as of 5 April 1945. The photo is supposed to have been taken in Bavaria however.

Re: eBAy: Captured german planes
hi,
they did fly, but it is hard to say if they flew successflug missions :-) you can find similar machines with etc in moellers Nachtschlacht-book or in jet & prop photo-archive no. 6. all the best jim |

Re: eBAy: Captured german planes
Both of which I have (and one of which I contributed to) but records of actual operations have eluded me so far (I can't remember right now if Christian Möller had any). There are some accounts of ops by Panzerjagdstaffeln (by Rick Chapman in Scale Models, and another article in Jet & Prop, both of which I have somewhere but would be hard-pressed to find).

Re: eBAy: Captured german planes
Marc,
The one called Brünnhilde a G-14?? Upon the colors you could say that ?? But model with reduced power, still flying , but only 1 HP, Rémi |

It is a very unusual Messerschmitt design. Was actually finalised by Halberstadt and it was given the designation CL.II ![]() Joking aside, dear Brünhilde was used by Schlachtstaffel 27b and was a pet propaganda subject. Poor Thea behind was shot down on 27.8.1918 with the unit commander actually surviving the ordeal. Cheers Stig |
