Re: Fw190 losses 8 March 1943
Crawford-Compton sent one fighter down in flames and believed his second victory resulted in the pilot baling out. I don't have details of Kingaby's claim. It seems they were Bf109G-4 despite being identified as Fw190.
The claims by 403 Squadron were possibly aircraft of SKG 10. Thanks for the heads up Bruce, I will try and get a copy of "Lucky 13" to get details. best regards Keith |
