Hi,
III./Z.G. 2 equipped with Bf 109 E-7/U1s entered action on 10 June 1942 on the Eastern Front, and up to 24 July 1942 flew 216 missions and 844 sorties. Unit claims were as follows: Target - Destroyed Vehicles - 226 Enemy aircraft - 6 Artillery pieces - 5 Tanks - 4 Trains - 2 Ammunition dumps - 2 Armoured trains - 1 Cheers, Andrew A.
