Hi,

based on my info, it is QJ-E BR523, belly landed Aug 19,1942 by Lt. Samouelle, 92 Squadron.

I have another 2 photos and plane looks same.

check A History of the Mediterranean Air War, 1940-1945: Volume 2 - page 311 - view from right side.

Now some of the (Bull)dust has settled, I'm first to admit I inadvertently numbered Image No.1 (Spitfire), as No.2 Kittyhawk). I stick by my conclusions on both images.
