The pilot you are looking for “may be”: Uffz. Wilhelm Riedmann from II/JG 11, who was wounded in action (WIA) on that date and landed at Sauensiek (nearby the town you mentioned) on the Bf 109 G-1 werknummer 14125. Also nearby the city you mentioned: Lt. Wolfgang Gloerfeld from 4./JG 11 bailed out with injuries from the Bf 109 G-6/U-4, code 10 (White), werknummer 420026 after striking the rudder of a B-17 near Biedersdorf, 8 km to the W of Buxtehude. according to JFV 10/II on 25 July 1943 Lt Gloerfeld flew the Bf 109 G-6/U4 WNr. 20 026 white 16. Regards Leo |
