Regarding Posts #3397 and #3398: Roger, I am pleased that you were able to snag this photo. I offer the following in the hopes that you can correct me if necessary. This Bf 109 G-12 is unique for several reasons. Purportedly abandoned at Einsatzhafen Landau-Isar, Germany (R-69) (coordinates 48.725000 12.695833), it is marked +22 white on its port side and 22+ white on its starboard side. It also sports a KG55 Griffon crest on its port cowling. Respectfully, Steve Sheflin |
