No doubt John V will answer this but if Jentsch was flying with Marchfelder, the unit would have been II./ZG 1 at that time?

Nordmeyer was when he was shot down in August 1940 but I am not sure if he was his BF then

Hi Chris thanks for your reply, I have no means of clarifying whether Jentsch was flying with Marchfelder or whether their unit was in fact II/ZG1 on the 17.5.40. They definitely were together on 16.8.40.
If John Vasco could help it would be appreciated. Alain57 thank you also , I have Nordmeyer on this date as well. Best regs, Steve.
