Hello Nick,
Thanks for the additional info which drove me to my copies of Ray Rimmel's Fokker Anthology. In volume 3 P.5 there is a post war photo of D.VII D.6666/18 (unless it is 6686 the picture is not completely clear and my eyesight is not 100%). This is not Hans Besser's machine a photo of which (assuming that it is the same machine, and not just one with identical markings) appears in Vol.1 P.48 where it is described as OAW built.Some photos appear of Auer's other D.VII with a Davidstern which Ray Rimmel says was recorded as 4043/18, but wrongly! Its british markings being G/2/27. Can anyone definitively provide the serials for either of Auer's Davidstern marked machine's or Hans Besser's machine with the Besen? Regards, Clint
