Hello,


Currently on ebay is a photo of a Fokker Dr.I, the seller states both that the photo is original and that the machine is Manfred von Richthofen's and it does resemble Dr.I 127/17. Its at:

I'm not really interested in fighter aces, so its entirely possible this has been seen before.If so apologies in advance.

The large number 5 is unusual and may point to a training unit, as is the fish (?) symbol.

Would a Dr.I Staffel have been posted in East Prussia at all? It seems a bit unlikely.
