JIM,
The letter is dated 27th September 1943, im Osten. He later (17th November 1943) wrote a letter to the same Fräunlein, informing he was operated (cirurgy) on the 9th November. This letter came from LW Lazarett Dommelkeim but was posted (Post) from Drugehnen. Would you have by chance, any entry from September 1943 up to 9th November 1943 where Hauptmann Dehn is wounded? I can not find why he went to this Hospital.... Sadly I do not have the 5 Teils of KG 27 Boelcke history in German language. Maybe the answer is there, but not accessible for me now. Adriano
