Hello ,

can someone identify this B-17 , it must have crashed in Belgium.

The serial number appears to me to be:

41-24549


If so, then the fortlog has this:

Ass 323BS/91BG [OR-Q] Bangor 10/9/42; Bassingbourn 11/10/42; MIA {14m} Hamm 4/3/43
w/Capt Martin McCarty, cp-Jim Hill, n-Byron Bennett, ettg-John McCormack, ro-Bill Dunnavant, tg-Bob

explosion and cr Buldern/Westphalen, nr Munster, Ger; MACR 15596. STUPEN TAKIT
