Re: Heinkel HD38 Photo?
Hi. From what I can see, if the letter betweeen the two men is an 'X' (which it looks like) then it cannot be the final letter - not enough space. Unfortunately the sellers mark hides quite a bit but it appears as if there is an a letter partially visible between the man on the right and the tailplane for which 'H' is a likely match.
There is an HD 38c, D-IXAH, listed in the old LEMB Stkz Database and which was originally D-2340. Mike
