Re: Unknown plane- for me

Thank you very much for the link on the Luftwaffe board and explanation of the reasher about the origin of the plane. To be honnest I never beleive that the image is false or the plane is makke as dummy. That was the war time and it was more easy to place on the airfield some old types such as Bf109D close to new G model then to construct something new just for this. But who know- I was not there so I don't know. Anyway this plane is very nice shaped and look great.

@ Mr. van Heuvel- thank you for understanding of the error in presenting of your image. I understand your problem as well I have it too. On many sites I have seen my material but only few webmasters are asked me for permission for use and get it without problem. Even to one webmaster I have post CD with great number of the planes for the free use. My material is published without my permission since '90 in books and magazines and still have a problem with unouthorized use of the product of my research as well material from my collection.

Problem about the false photos had grown up with the development of the image processing programs like a Photoshop. This can realy make good reproduction of non excisting subject. Other problem is that the black and white material if stored well could last very long time. In the countries of East Europe until laste decades was produced black and white material identical to the pre war and war material. Who know process he can with easy transfer Photoshop image on this kind of paper. Finished photo pour into the dilluted suggar and drop on the wet and dirt place on the basement. Image will became yellowed after a week. Then float into the vinegar and image will became cracking and fragile- like old photos.

Bevare on internet- never know what is in offer. That why I more prefer direct contact with families or veterans and direct supply of archive images. Any lab in the near can test your image and if they found a traces of suggar or vinegar... you know what you have
