Looks like AVIA Ba-33 alias BH-33L (with motor Skoda L500) Czechoslovak Air Force before WWII - but around year 1930 .......but the place? If you have more info, pls share.

pilot:Cyril Novotný
unit: 31.letka LP 1. (31. squadron from the Flying wing no 1)

Excellent details Faenor!
Is there somewhere on the 'net where I can find the correlation between Czeck codes and their units?
In this case I looked inside the JAKAB book about the Avia BH-33 but no such luck....

Hi Stig,

I´m from the Czech republic, but this coding is not my strong area :-(

symbol of Letecký pluk
Page 14 and there are symbols of Letecký pluk/Flying wing

I will try contact my friend, if they have some more info about unit under this Flying wing and their markings.
