Hi Simon.
Interesting research! Just a few points to add on the awards. All men with the EK1 will have had the EK2 as well (the EK1 was only awarded to those who already held the EK1 - on very rare occasions they could be awarded together). All men with the DKiG and Ehrenpokal would also have had the EK2 and EK1. Again, they were prerequisites for the higher awards.
