Maj Kurt Bühligen's P-47 victory on June 6, 1944

It is very interesting that Prien and the other authors of the Jagdfliegerverbände series mention that P-47 fighters were involved in the engagement but according to the information in this thread it would appear that no aircraft of that type were lost on that day due to aerial combat. Perhaps a Thunderbolt unit was engaged but did not suffer any losses?
